Here at Sol Swim we try our best to make you feel and look good while also trying to make the planet look good. We have done lots of research for our collection pieces. Sol has decided for our collection pieces to send the original design that we hand draw off to a company, with a lot of research Sol has found a company that has a more eco friendly approach than most for our collection pieces. The fabric that we use has a high percentage of recycled polyester, which is made out of recycled plastics and uses 63% less energy and 99% less water in the making of the bikinis. While our Wipe Outs our hand design and sewn with the same recycled polyester fabric. Let’s do our part to help our planet and thank it for giving us the opportunity to swim in its oceans and explore every corner of its beauty, while being in the Sol.

The name Sol comes from the Spanish language meaning sun, and here at Sol Swim we make swimwear for people that love the sun. Celebrate the sun with us.
Why we started
On Hatteras Island our lives are centered around the beach if it’s surfing, fishing, or tanning Everything is based from our beaches which has a strict uniform of swimwear. Which can get very expensive as someone who is in love with being in the sun and water. So the thought was instead of buying all the over priced bikinis why not put all the money into making swimwear to share with you all that’s not only an affordable price, but is ethical and ecofriendly! I hope you fall in love with Sol Swim as much as we have.
